Journey Replay.

Every move a person ever made —
animated in the order it happened.

Vasquez-Nair Family — Journey Replay
Each arc draws in the order it was lived. Raj leaves Kochi in 1945; Elena leaves Guadalajara in 1947. Two separate lives that arrive in the same place in 1983. Tap a name to replay that person's route.

The globe shows the full picture at once — all migrations, all arcs, all locations. Journey Replay shows something different: the sequence. The order in which a life moved through the world.

A grandmother born in Gujarat. Moved to Nairobi at twelve. London at twenty-two. Toronto at thirty-five. Each arc appears one at a time — the move visualized as it was lived, not all at once. The animation pauses between each move, giving time for the weight of each journey to land.

For families, watching a grandfather's journey replay is often the first time they've seen the whole shape of his migration as a story — not a list of cities, but a life that moved.

Not where they ended up. How they got there.

How it works
01
Arcs appear in sequence.

Each move in a person's journey animates one at a time, in chronological order. The arc draws from origin to destination. The globe rotates to follow. The pace is slow enough to feel the distance.

02
Any member's journey, any time.

Journey Replay can be triggered for any member in the network who has journey data. Select any person from the directory, and watch their migration history play out on the globe.

03
Pauses on significant moves.

The animation lingers on moves that span greater distances or longer time periods — crossing continents, crossing decades. The replay reflects the weight of each transition.
