A grant-funded program to document cultural heritage among Fijian diaspora communities and strengthen transoceanic family connections between Fiji and the United States. Funded through partnership with the U.S. Embassy Suva. Application in progress.
ECO networks for Tribal Historic Preservation Offices to document oral histories, preserve cultural vocabulary, and maintain language archives on community terms. Current outreach across federally recognized nations in Northern California and beyond. Aligned with TBCP Round 3 Use & Adoption funding windows (applications due September 17, 2026).
Grant-funded ECO access for senior living facilities and memory care programs, enabling residents to capture life stories, record family histories, and create Future Arc messages for their families. Partnerships with facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Cultural heritage is not evenly preserved. Communities with resources document their histories. Communities without them don't. The ECO Files closes that gap directly — every grant dollar funds real network subscriptions for communities that would otherwise have no access.
Because The ECO Files funds access to an existing, operational platform, overhead is low. Grants go to network subscriptions, not to building infrastructure that already exists.
Every network funded through The ECO Files is permanent. A community that receives a grant-funded ECO network owns its stories indefinitely — even if funding ends, the content remains in Directed Dormancy, intact and exportable, until the community chooses to continue or export their archive.
